About the Resort > Amenties & Activities
With all that we have to offer, your Windrifter stay can be as active or as relaxing as you like, any time of the year. Our amenities are open to all Windrifter members year-round, as well as open to our guests during their stay.
Pool
Make a splash by jumping right into our indoor heated pool, or sit back in the shallow end and let your cares float away. Completely renovated in 2011, our indoor pool offers year-round enjoyment and a great way to stay fit.
Poolside Patio
After your swim, relax on our patio just outside the pool. With lounge chairs, picnic tables, and grills, it is a great spot for a family barbeque or a friendly card game. In a shaded nook close to the patio is a swingset with slide and monkey bars so you can watch your children play.
Tennis Court
Steps from the patio and overlooking the 6th green of the Kingswood Golf Course is our private tennis court. Didn’t bring your racquet? Don’t worry, we have racquets and balls for our guests.
Volley Ball/Badminton
Whether it’s our weekly organized game for guests or a spontaneous game to fill the afternoon, they are the perfect games for vacation fun. The net is up all season, stop in to the office for the ball or birdies.
Horseshoes
Don’t know a “leaner” from a “ringer?” Try your hand at throwing some shoes.
Fitness Center/Sauna
Look for our Fitness Center to be remodeled and expanded in 2012.
Laundry
Even vacation can’t be all fun. We have coin operated washers and dryers, along with irons and ironing boards.
Swim Dock
What better way to relax on a Summer day than to sun yourself on our private 700 square foot swim dock and then jump in the lake to cool off. Just a short walk from downtown Wolfeboro, the Windrifter’s Yacht Club provides our members and guests with private amenities not found anywhere else on the Big Lake.
Boat Slips
Bring your boat on your Windrifter vacation! Our boat slips are free to our members during their Windrifter stay and available to non-member guests at low daily and weekly rates. Canoes and kayaks are welcome during your stay too; Wolfeboro Bay and the Back Bay have lots of places to explore that you can only see with small crafts.
If you don’t have a boat, feel free to use the Windrifter’s paddle boats to explore and enjoy. We even have personal flotation devices for your use too.
Lakeside Patio
Make your day at the lake complete with a lake-side barbeque. Along with the Swim Dock and Boat Slips, the Windrifter’s Yacht Club also its own patio with umbrella-shaded picnic tables and grills for your use and enjoyment.
Although our focus is vacationing and relaxation, we understand that sometimes work is unavoidable. We provide free wireless internet throughout all our buildings and grounds. If you need to host a business meeting, consider our Mountainview Room or Barn. Package rates are available for your attendees staying overnight.
