With a Windrifter vacation, you are secure in knowing that your vacation home will be there for you each year, ready when you arrive. Gone are the worries of maintenance and repairs. You have the benefits of a second home, without the expense and hassle of year-round care.
Owning a Windrifter vacation gives you many options. Many of our members vacation here each year right on schedule and renew long friendships. Others exchange their Windrifter vacation to stay at one of over 4,500 other resorts worldwide through the RCI system. Still others vacation with us each year, but come at different times or break their vacation into a series of shorter stays. Some skip their vacation and rent out their unit. It is your vacation, so you can decide how, when, and where you wish to enjoy it.
We work hard to remain true to our founders’ original promise of an affordable vacation. We re a not-for-profit member-run organization and every penny goes directly to providing services and amenities found no where else in the area. All of our guest rooms feature a fully equipped kitchen so you can prepare your own meals if you like.
Without the people that come here year after year, The Windrifter Resort is just a collection of buildings. It is the people that make it a community. Many of our members boast of long friendships forged over the years of their Windrifter vacations.
Your Windrifter vacation is an investment that pays dividends each year in the form of lasting memories, friendships, and traditions. Whether it is second generation members returning with their children or seniors that didn’t discover the Windrifter until after retirement, the friendships and bonds are strong and lasting.
